On 13 March 2019 a delegate of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner made a decision in relation to Craigcare Moonee Ponds that a failure to meet two expected outcomes in the Accreditation Standards placed the safety, health or wellbeing of consumers of the service at serious risk. An assessment contact was conducted on 9 May 2019 at Craigcare Moonee Ponds to monitor the service’s progress. The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission found the service complies with all Accreditation Standards. Serious risk is not an ongoing state; it is a statutory decision based on evidence at a point in time.
