On 10 July 2018 a delegate of the CEO of the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency made a decision that failure by North Eastern Community Nursing Home Incorporated to meet one expected outcome in the Accreditation Standards in relation to North Eastern Community Nursing Home has placed the safety, health or wellbeing of care recipients of the service at serious risk. An assessment contact was conducted by the Quality Agency on 13 August 2018 to 14 August 2018 at North Eastern Community Nursing Home to monitor the service’s progress. The Quality Agency found the service complies with all Accreditation Standards. Serious risk is not an ongoing state; it is a statutory decision based on evidence at a point in time.
