On 26 March 2019 a delegate of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner made a decision in relation to Forest Lake Lodge that failure to meet one expected outcome in the Accreditation Standards placed the safety, health or wellbeing of a consumer of the service at serious risk. An assessment contact was conducted on 15 May 2019 at Forest Lake Lodge to monitor the service’s progress. The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission found the service complies with all Accreditation Standards. Serious risk is not an ongoing state; it is a statutory decision based on evidence at a point in time.

On 13 November 2017 a delegate of the CEO of the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency made a decision that Lollies Management Pty Ltd failed to meet one of more expected outcomes in the Accreditation Standards in relation to Forest Lake Lodge and that this failure has placed, or may place, the safety, health or wellbeing of a care recipient of the service at serious risk. The Department of Health has been notified of the risk. The Quality Agency will continue to monitor the performance of the service including through unannounced visits.
